How To Create The Perfect Lip

Feeling festive & what better way to get into the Christmas spirit then a red lip tutorial !

In this tutorial I give tips that will help your lipstick stay put all night long , even if your kissing someone underneath the mistletoe ... (that was cringe... sorry) .

Products Used :

Lip Balm : NUXE Paris , Reve de Miel , Lip moisturising stick

Lipstick : Peggy Sage Lipstick - 303

Lip pencil : Primark Lip Pencil

Powder : Kat Von D - Shade & Light

Highlight : Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit - Sun Dipped - Summer

Steps

Step 1 : Lip Scrub - You can make your own with honey & brown sugar or oil olive & brown sugar . You can also buy them in Penneys & Lush . Put it on your lips & give them a scrub , then let it sit for a minute before removing it with a damp cloth . It will remove all the dead skin on your lips .

Step 2 : Lip Balm - Apply lip balm to moisturise your lips .

Step 3 : Apply a lipstick of your choice .

Step 4 : I then applied a lip pencil a few shades darker to create a subtle ombre effect .

Step 5 : Conceal around the lips to define them .

Step 6 : Set the concealer in place with powder .

Step 7 : Rip some tissue so its nice & thin , set it on top of your lips & powder . This will make the lips look matte .

Step 8 : Highlight the inner part of your lips to make your lips appear fuller .

Step 9 : Blot your lips so the lipstick doesn't get on your teeth .

Confessions Of A Beauty Guru Tag

I really don't want my YouTube channel to be all Make up Tutorials , so instead here's a video of me answering beauty/Youtube related questions . I found these questions on Nikki Tutorials blog and its called the 'Confessions Of A Beauty Guru Tag' . There is 14 questions all together. I really enjoyed doing a more relaxed style video that just involves me talking to the camera. I forgot to take a thumbnail picture for the video so the picture up above is a completely different day , just in case anyone was wondering  why I have straight hair in the video & curly hair in the picture haha .

Gold Glitter Smokey Eye | Make Up Tutorial

Its the busiest month of the year for a make up artist , between staff nights out , new years , boxing day  , 12 pubs & weddings its a very busy month . This make up look would be perfect for a night out over Christmas , its a nice dramatic gold glitter smokey eye . I prefer this look with a nude lip ( my favourite lip colour) but you could pair it up with a red or even plum lipstick if your feeling brave .
I hope my tutorials help anyone who forgot to book a make up artist on time or who is trying to do there make up themselves for any of these nights out .

I was inspired by Arabic eye make up with the winged eyeliner , they drag the eyeliner downwards in the inner tear duct , elongating the eye . If you have close set eyes , I would avoid doing this because it can make your eyes look even closer together . Instead I would just brighten up the area making your eyes look further apart by using a cream or white eyeshadow .
